Are your limiting beliefs π€ your legacy?
"We can easily forgive a child who is afraid of the dark. The real tragedy of life is when men are afraid of the light." -- Plato
β
And for a parent, who holds the future of a child in their hands?
β
That parent reacts not only to their own light, but to the light of their child. π
β
I still remember the moment when I realized that I was pushing my own limiting beliefs onto my son. Of course, it's only natural - we're tasked with teaching reality to our children and those beliefs are part of our understanding of reality.
β
But it was still shocking.
β
The first step is to see your limiting beliefs. Ways in which your view of reality is different than reality. These are often passed down from generation to generation.
β
Only once you know can you break the cycle.
