Reverse Christmas Morning Syndrome

Little me.

Little me.

I remember one Christmas πŸŽ„, I was so excited that I woke up at 6am and ran downstairs. I patiently waited ... for a few minutes. Then I opened my stocking and played with the toys. 🧸🀭🀫

When it was late enough, I put everything back (so they wouldn't know I'd tampered 😏), and then I woke everyone up.

I still remember the feeling the night before.

Such excitement.

What about you? Did you ever get that feeling on Christmas Eve when you couldn't wait for the next morning? 😁

What's the opposite of that? 😳

The opposite is that feeling where you'd be happy if the next morning didn't come for days. Where you're sitting there late at night weighing all the things you still want to do, all the things you have to do, and just going to bed.

Personally, I tried to squeeze every last drop πŸ’§ out of every night before finally throwing in the towel and going to bed.

I call it Reverse Christmas Morning Syndrome πŸ˜‘πŸŽ„. And I've been surprised to see how common it is.

I also think that the cure for it is not as hard as you think.

Come join us as we talk about what it means and how to actually look forward to waking up the next morning.
