Some days you got it, and some days you don't.

Today was one of those latter days. I felt it as soon as I sat down to meditate. My energy was off.

Often I try to plow through. It's sometimes manageable with legal work, but doesn't turn out as well as if I fixed my energy.

It doesn't work at all with coaching work.

That's the gift (and curse) of this work, you can't hide.

Today I needed to record this week's podcast episode, so instead of trying to plow through (the episodes aren't that great when my mood is off), I got dressed and went for a walk. I ran into a friend. We connected. I kept walking. I reset while I was outside in the cold. And by the time I got back:

I had it. 😊😎

It's not as simple as some days you got it and some you don't. Today I was in both camps. And more importantly, demonstrated that I had the power to find it on days when I didn't have it.
