Feeling Like You Chose The Wrong Profession?

I remember when I started as a lawyer, I was happy to be a lawyer. I was happy that someone cared enough about my work to pay for it. I felt important.

So I worked for a few years, and didn’t love it. But thought it’s too early to do anything about it.

And then a few years passed. I tried switching jobs. I was pretty sure law wasn’t the right choice for me, but then what would I do instead? That’s a big decision. Can’t rush it.

And then a few years later, you’re certain. But now you’ve also spent a decade becoming good at your career. And you feel pot committed. You can’t throw away 10 years of work…

In this episode, we talk about what to do when you’re not liking what you’re doing. When you feel like you’ve made the wrong choice and you feel like it’s too late to do anything about it.

It’s not too late. It’s never too late.

And also, it’s possible that you didn’t make the wrong choice.

So, what does this mean for you?

I’ve worked with lawyers who were done with the law. And I’ve worked with others who just needed to fix other areas of their life.

After all, it’s easy for our job to be the punching bag of our problems.

How does this fit into what you truly want for your life?

What steps are you going to take? How will you take control and move forward?
