"Podcast Incoming π" π³ - the gap and the gain
I was cleaning up my "drafts" folder last night (the emails I started and never sent), and I saw an email I'd drafted from before I started my podcast.
I was talking about receiving the rough draft of the first episode.
My excitement and pride. Not even at the content, but just at the courage of taking the step.
At manifesting my dreams.

It made me think about everything that's changed since then. The podcast itself had its 35th episode released last week.
And people are listening. It's had over 900 downloads so far.
What an example of comparing the gap and the gain.
A lot of the time I focus on the gap. The gap between where I am and where I want to go. I would like more people to listen. I have huge ambitions for the show and the impact that we can make together in our own lives and in this world.
Seeing that draft email allowed me to focus on the gain.
On all that I've done and how far I've come so far.
And I don't write this to brag. I write this to invite you to look at your own gain. The gap is good for setting your direction, but in the trenches it's a lot more motivating and productive to be focusing on the gain.
What's your gain?
