What's next? ππ€·ββοΈ
My boy has a pretty neat tic tac toe set where you've got different sizes of pieces and they gobble each other up. He was too little πΆ when we inherited it and it got put away.
β
We recently took it out again.
β
I tried to explain the rules π, but he decided that all the kids wanted to hang out together in one square. All the mommies in another, and all the daddies in a different one.

I just waited. When he finished, the two of us just sat at these little gobblers hanging out in the fun squares.
β
After a moment, I asked: What's next?
β
That question always comes.
β
Whether we're at work, in our relationships, in our family, in our play. You don't have to follow the rules, you can always make your own. But when you do create your own rules, you can bet people are going to ask what's next.
β
You don't need to have an answer. Some times it's better to NOT have an answer, just so you can focus on the journey.
β
Just be aware the question is coming.
β
And those of you who are parents can probably guess what happened with me and my boy. We knocked them all down and then did it again. π
